I saw one sell for $150 a little while back but It was pretty nice. I would say $120 would be a fair price for this gun in the condition you describe.

I paid $125 and tax for my 24 in good condition. Mine is the older model with the side select button and top action release. $150 is the norm for this gun in most any condtion.Roy

A nice old M24 with the side select and either the Tenite or walnut stocks is a $275 to $325 gun (I said NICE and OLD). Like a lot of other stuff, you can still occasionally pick one up cheap from someone who doesn't knwo the current price, but the old side button model was a first gun for a lot of guys who now want them for nostalgia, or a grandchild.Other M24s that bring a premium are the deluxe model with the Monte Carlo stock and the satin nickel receiver, the 22/20 ga camper model with the 20" barrel and the pack case, and the .357/20 ga with the pistol grip.redcedars.[This message has been edited by redcedars (edited 03-06-2002).]
