I posted a topic earlier. I did not fully state how strong my new love for gus are. I started shooting maybe a month ago and now I could not think of nonthing else but shooting. I come from a long line of shooters that are no longer around to offer advise on shooting. Now I ask you guys to step in where I have no one to step in. I need advise on the guns I should look at and not look at. The books I should study and the ones I should not read. the websites I should visit and the ones that i should block out of my browser. Any help yu guys can offer would be great.thanks Calvin

JOIN THE NRA. On the guns you like, well that's going to be a personal preference. I would suggest a 22 caliber if you like to shoot a lot. They are cheaper and you can learn the basics a lot easier and not develope flinch. Find out what your dominant eye is. Contact you local police dept. They have a firearms instructor who can do that for you and they will be eager to assist you.I could go on but I'll let others enlighten you with their knowledge.
