    I just got a Ruger Super Blackhawk - in a Ruger mahogany box - inside of box is wood with cutout in the shape of the gun and a Ruger label in the top - ser# 76X - About 98% - Any idea as to value? Thanks!!

    Depending on condition (I'm assumming at least 98%) At least around here, retail $700-800 These are some of the best finished guns ruger ever made.

    If it's got a "long grip frame" around $1200!- info from the standard catalog of firearms,2001 ed.

    That is a nice early one. I do not have my Ruger book at hand, but it may be a long grip model. Would you be interested in a trade for a later one in the same condition with an even, though later, serial number, plus boot of course?If so, please contact me at judgecolt45@hotmail.com.

    How do you tell a "long grip" from what is normal?
