In reference to nagant revolvers I have come across the term "Gas Sealed Cylinder". Does this feature apply to all nagant revolvers or just some? Does it refer to the action of the cylinder being moved against barrel when the hammer is cocked?

Kyler it refers to the 1895 model Nagant. This pistol is featured in an article in the March 11th Newsstand issue of the "Shotgun News".Shotgun News Excerpt: The Nagants cylinder is cammed forward upon cocking so that the coned breach end of the barrel literally enters the mouth of the aligned chamber. Hope this helps!
