Can anyone tell me where to get more information on a 1910 L. Nagant Revolver? I would like to learn more about its history, proof marks, how to ID country marketed, and appx. value. Thanks to anyone that can help me out.[This message has been edited by kyler007 (edited 03-10-2002).]

Hmm. In my knowledge, Nagant revolvers were used by Switzerland, Sweden, and Russia. Could be any of them. Russians are a dime a dozen now, the others are worth more.

To get the complete history on the Nagant from the grandson of the founder go to: http://www.voicenet.com/~danz/MN/nagant2.htm If this does not work go to search and enter Mosin Nagant and you will be able to find.Am sure you will find very informative.

Another way to find info is go to internet and type in "Nagant Revolver" or "Nagant Pistol". I have one and it's a pretty neat little item.
