Value of a winchester 100 in 308 with scope

I have a Winchester model 100 in 308. It has a Bushnell 3X9 40 mm scope on it. (new) Its in very nice condition. Looks like it was never hunted with. Only scratch is on the wood where the bolt slides.
What is this worth? Is the gun broker auction the best way to sell it? And can I ship a long gun to a FFL myself. Who's the best shipper? I live in New York. Thanks for the help

Is it pre-64 or post-64. Post-64 I believe had the basket weave checkering. The model 100's also had some problems with the bolts. Winchester had a recall on them several years ago. Had one in 284 Win back in 1979. Nice firearm if you like the semi-auto for hunting. You can ship to any FFL through the USPS. Rough estimate on price, $300 to $400.

GB, hands down the best way to sell your gun and get the most money. The only better way is if you already know someone who wants to buy it and will pay the price you want. I prefer UPS, they are cheaper(most times) and have better hours to drop stuff off.
