I am looking to purchase a new gun at a reasonable price. The mossburg mo. 100 ATR look to be a nice gun but I have been told this is a cheap gun made be Rapter. The Savage is 200 is a better gun for the price I have been told. Anybody have any thoughts Thanks Busman

Looking for some opinions. I'm deciding what I want to do with a new gun. Primarily, I'm looking for a solution for a permanent gun for deer and turkey. I have a Mossberg 835. Option 1 is to buy a slug barrel for it, and mount some kind of scope on it, and just change barrels for deer and turkey, in which case I'll probably go out and buy the new 935 for waterfowl hunting, since thats where the majority of my shooting is as far as 12 gauge goes. Option 2 is to buy a single-shot, interchangable barreled gun. The two I like most are the T/C Encore and the new Mossberg SSI....I really like the value and quality of Mossberg, so thats probably my first choice in that department right now. They dont have as many barrels as the T/C, but more than enough to fit my purposes. Does anyone have an opinion? Or good/bad experiences with the 935 or SSI? Thanks

I haven't got my blue book in yet, so I can't look it up in there till tomarrow, if its even in there. But I happen to have an old 1986 gun digest, and it has the Ljutic Bigun O/U shotgun super deluxe LTD TC with an original retail price of $9984.00, so it sounds to me like you got a good deal.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

sounds like you got the "deal of the day". Blue book @98% is 15,750.@ 90% it is 9,250. They are seldom seen other than at the skeet and trap range. The gun is not intimidated by the Perrazi's and Kreighoff's.

Punchie was right on. Deal of the day? hell, looks like "deal of the year". Do you want to make a quick $500??? Just kidding! Man, I better memorize that name the next time I am at an estate sale. GD
