Thanks for your response to my previous post. The Ruger turned out to be 4 5/8 inch barrel. It ended up selling for 220.00 so everone that gave me a price were right in there. Thanks again. Someone on this forum always has the right answer.

quote:Shootist3006: I don't know where you buy your Rugers at but around here you can get a blue ruger NM Blackhawk in 41 mag for $349, Stainless steel Redhawk for $410 to $450 if it has rings and super redhawk for $489 to $569 depending on model

I hadn't looked to price a Blackhawk and was just going by Rugers 'suggested' price on their web page. Both my Blackhawks are just fine and don't expect tp need to replace them. Good to know what the prices are though, thanks.

Shootist3006: Yes there is a huge difference between the msr and what they really sell for , it amazes me how much difference there can be in prices from one region to the next, like I live in western WI and can buy the Ruger Vaquero for aleast $30-40 less here than in Sioux Falls SD, I know this because I get out to Sioux Falls once in awhile and always try to take time to stop at a few gun shops and check out prices,, I guess its like every thing else its what the market will bear.
