Blackhawk Trigger Springs

Really like my recently acquired Ruger Blackhawk. The trigger pull could be a tad lighter though. Anyone had good luck replacing their trigger spring with one of the aftermarket springs?

For the cost of the spring, shipping and the time you spend doing the work, you are probably better off just taking it to a gunsmith. My BH was pulling at over 6# he took it down to 3 1/2 and it only cost 25 bucks I think the spring kit costs 40-50. I dont know if there is any other advantages from the whole spring kit compared to what I had done????......Lazy

A spring kit in Brownells is around $15.00. I know a lot of cowboy shooters that use them. Also know a lot of cowboy shooters that put around $100. into an action job.

A bullseye or wolff spring kit will do wonders for your Ruger. Some judicious stoning of hammer sear won't hurt but be careful here.
