M16 Fire Control Parts

A bud of mine has an M16 with a 3 round burst kit. He wants to upgrade to a 4 position kit and he asked me to try and find out what parts are different between the two, and where he might find them. I thought that would be a simple enought task, but I've asked 20 parts dealers and have gotten the same answer from each..."I don't know, but I sell a complete kit for $200.00 !!!! Can someone PLEASE help.
