I have read the shipping of firearms information on some threads and on Gunbroker but don't know if this is answered there. I want to ship my pistol back to the Manufacturer for work. I don't have an FFL but I took possesion of the pistol legally thru one. If I send it Fedex with there be any issue. I don't know if they are an FFL but they made the danged thing.
Also can they return it to me directly or do we have to do the FFL thing again????

You are permitted to return your handgun to the manufacturer without going thru a licensed dealer..Likewise the manufacturer is permitted to return the handgun to you without the involvement of a licensed dealer.... The firearm may only be returned to the individual that shipped it and only to the same physical address that it was shipped from....

Mr.Stark spoke it better than I could. I understand your anxiety about shipping the gun. But it should be back in your hands before long and functioning properly.

    Good Luck.

Jim said it well. You should be fine with Fedex or UPS and mfr will ship back to you directly. Just make sure you insure it from possible lost (most likely from theft within the shipper, yep shipper). Try to use an abbreviated mfr name so that you don't give away the contents of the package. GD
