Ran across a 1915 (year mfg) Winchester model 12 70-75% What would be a good price? I have alwayts heard that these are great shooters. Man wants $300.00 Buy it or Leave it?

Respect those who protect us now just as you would those who died for us in the past.

If S/S, buy in a heart beat. Stock cut and/or pad added? Cracks, chips, pitting,...I'd pass.

Check to make sure the s/n's match. The barrel on that - assuming it's original should be maked "Nickel Steel" and the s/n's between 79773 and 109523 for a 1915 gun. Someone mentioned SS - if this is stainless steel it wasn't offered on the M12 until June of 1926 - and since it didn't sell well was discontinued in 1930. Customers didn't like the finish on the SS barrels. It's hard to determine value from your description, but if you want one $300 is a good price. They are nice shotguns.
