Need help.Customer has a 3 barrel muzzleloading pistol that he is seeking info on.Only markings are CMC and 20032A (which I assume is the serial number).Wooden stock, brass frame and three 3" steel bbls.that are rifled and screw into a steel block that joins receiver.Center bbl. has flash hole to either side for the other 2 bbls.Is this thing old or a repro? Any info and help id'ing this would be greatly appreciated.

Would have to see it to be able to ascertain as to the type and Age!
This particular Piece you discribe, sounds like a Duck Foot Pistol...but, again I must have a Photo or the gun in hand to be reasonably sure...best...

Based upon your description --- I will vote with the Captain on this one. If you would like to check out what a "duck foot pistol" would look like -- go to www.dixiegun.com -- put in ph1405 in the search function. It will show the "kit" in pieces, but it should give you and idea as to whether or not this is what you have.

Thanks guys. You are great. That is exactly what it is!Barrels are somewhat rusty and someone has carved on the grip.Trying to give it an old apperance I guess.

Blackgun, this is what an original, 4 barrel version looks like

All originals were flintlocks, somebody trying to make one of the caplock kits look old isn't too swift.
