Cetme Scope Mount

B-Square makes a scope mount for the HK91. Will this mount
work on a Century Arms Cetme Sporter? Is this type of
mount a stable platform or a P.O.S. ?
After the good Dr. did some operating on my Cetme, I have
a keeper.
Thank you much,

Bill

I just mounted a stanag claw style mount on my cetme and discovered that now the bolt won't go to the rear. Apparently it is pushing the sides in enough to stop the bolt about 1" from the forward position. I had to remove the mount to free up the bolt.
Has anyone had or heard of this problem before? The way it looks I may have to remove some metal from the bolt carrier to fix this.

Bill, At gunboards.com they have a whole section on Cetme's you might give it a try. I'm thinking about getting one, now that the price is coming down. I also would want a scope to be mounted on it. Do you have one with a Hesse receiver or a Century Arms?

    FYI.
Recently had a problem with a customer's Cetme that used a B-Square mount(3rd generation). Poor accuracy- mount moved.
Retightened, now it wouldn't hand cycle smoothly. Receiver pinching bolt assembly.
Went through two mounts, same results.
Talked to an HK-Cetme expert. He had run into this before. Told me some Cetme's receivers weren't hardened correctly. Didn't know how to tell.
B-Square had heard that some worked, some didn't. They even redesigned-improved the mounts over the years.
Only way to find out if the clamp mount will work is to try it.

I put one on mine and it worked. For the price it is worth a try. If you should decide on an original HK quick release, expect to pay 200+ for the mount and it still has to be modified.
