what was remington thinking?

I have been a remington mdl.700 fan for years. Now they want to get into the short-mag craze. For the first time in 10 years, I purchased a non-remington rifle. It sucked. Not the load, but the rifle. I bought a browning. I did it because I wanted a short mag in a full sized rifle, not a little play toy model 7. The wsm kicks like a mule and I know that little model 7 mag. has gotta knock the crap out of most of the people who bought it. Does anyone else want to see the remington sarum in a model 700? Winchester and unfortunately browning are smoking their butts because they offer their wsm in a full-sized rifle avaliable in many different configurations. I for one would love to see a model 700 sendero sf chambered for the remington 300 sarum. Does anyone else feel the same?

Word is that Remington is coming with their SAUM in the 700 later this year. As far as whether the Sendero will be chambered I haven't heard. GHD

Any word on new chamberings for that Remington Titanium rifle? I'd sure like to see it in that SAUM.

AHHH yes, the Sendero. I will be one of the first to order the SF when it hits the market chambered for one of these short/fat magnums. Sure to be a winner.
