custom grip medalions

is there anywere that i can get custom grip medalions for my 1911?

the ones in my pachmyer american legends fell out and i would like to use this as an opertunity to get differant ones.

    Most medallions are swaged in place from the back.
    I think Colt medallions are the same size, if you want to go that way. You can probably pick up a new pair of those here on GB or ebay even.
    I bought grips at a gunshow just to harvest the medallions for use in another set of grips. If you damage the swaged part, a little JBWeld will hold the medallions in place nicely. At least in wood. With the Pachmayer, you might be better off with a virgin pair.

    thnks . . . i can't beleive i did this but i resorted to supergluing them

    it seems to have worked for now
