I have a winchester mod 70 270, im sure its not pre 64 cuz the serial number starts with a G...am i right about that? and in very good condition, can someone tell me a ballpark value? Thanks.

How close is the stock footprint on a post 64 mod 70 to the pre 64 mod 70 footprint? (footprint = action fit) Thanks.

The ones with the two piece trigger guards. Screw distance points 7&9/16" C to C.

OK. Has anyone fitted a pre 64 to a post 64 stock?

A post-64 stock should fit quite easily. The stock will have to be inletted for the sight base bulge in the barrel and perhaps some minor fitting for barrel profile, but the receiver is the same.
