I have a Sig P238 (.380) and a P938 (9mm). I am currently using a pocket holster I bought for the P238 for my P938. I am wanting an IWB leather holster or a IWB slide type leather holster. Anyone have recommendations? Thanks.

If you have never used a IWB holster previously? Buy a inexpensive Uncle Mikes to see how it works for you, before springing for a expensive leather one. There is definitely a learning curve, in getting accustom to wearing a IWB holster for hours at a time. Simple thing like going to the bathroom, has the potential for creating embarrassing problems.

I tried them all over the years. Pocket holster is the best way to go, IMHO. For a small personal protection handgun. I've gone down hills backwards on a quad with out losing my pocket carry. Don't honestly think it would have been the same, if I was carrying IWB.

My favorite holster maker is Alessi. They can be found at:

They make great leather and should have what you are looking for. They have an Express line available at Midway and some of those holsters are only $26. I carry a .38 in their Street Combat holster and it has served me well.
There's a newer guy on the scene making holsters that look great. He does make IWB holsters that are specific to your gun. http://www.cardonholsters.com/

Rufe-snow is right that it will be a new experience. It may feel uncomfortable for awhile, but IF you can get past the "breaking yourself in" stage, it is well worth it. There is no better form of deep, yet fast-to-access, concealment. However, some people just can't reconcile themselves to inside the waistband carry.

Going to inside the pants carry usually involves getting pants 2 inches wider than normal to accommodate a handgun. You may not need to do this with really small .380 or 9mm sized guns if your pants are loose fitting already.

We have both the cheap, Uncle Mike's holsters, and El Paso and Don Hume in leather. We also have magazines and sights. I'll get our tech to clean up these pages from our web site today, as they need a little work...

Thanks for the info so far. I am used to IWB holsters. I carry a Crossbreed for my XDS and a Bianchi for my J frame. There doesn't seem to be a lot of choices since the P938 is so new. I am going to check on the P238 models and call and see if they will fit my P938 since the pocket holster fits. Anyone have a good IWB for the P238 they would recommend? Thanks again!
