What do you guys think the changes are of Ruger making a #1B in .17 Hornet?? Has any body asked? I think this would be a nice set-up. May by a little heavy but that may be good. Sad state that the #1 is only being made in one caliber a year per model number. May by a special run???? I looked at the Mini Sharps, nice gun but not U.S.A. made.

You will have to buy a new one or used one and have it rebarreled since they are cutting down on options for the #1's. If you want a special run then you and a bunch of folks who want that caliber need to be using Ruger's tell the CEO option on their website..He does read them. Also contact Lipseys as they do lots of exclusive Ruger guns. I bought a Lipsey's exclusive Flattop Bisley in .44 Special..not catalogued on Ruger's website but only on Lipsey's.
