My brother came into one in 32-20,round barrel.Other than the rebluing,it is in good shape.Someone told him tonight, while we were setting up for the show, that it is worth about $250.I find it hard to beliebe that rebluing could reduce the value to thi degree.Any thaughts would be greatly appreciated..218[This message has been edited by 218Beekeep (edited 03-08-2002).]

We deal in many older Winchester's here and to any collector once the gun is changed from its original status it kills the value. Some folks are still willing to pay a decent price for a 73 thats been reblued but you dont find many. Most of the clientele that are into the older Win's are collectors. Most of the "shooters" buy the new stuff or replicas. Still ought to go for more than $250.00 though if everything else looks good.

Yes it should! (in my book). Where or what can you buy to shoot for that? At the next show get crazy , put a sign on it $800 or BEST OFFER , work the crowd a little ya move it for 400 / 500 who knows.
Work'n like a dog all nite
