I found an old Flobert (sounds kinda like a song) at the show this weekend. Basically a wall hanger. Just wondering when they were made or where to look. Mine is a .22 with the receiver/firing pin block that swings up when you pull back the hammer, octagonal 23 1/4" barrel, rounded pistol grip stock. Neat looking little rifle.

Thanks Capt. I figured for $25.00 it was an interesting piece. Mine would actualy be a shooter if I had the hammer spring but there is no extractor (I think it runs in the grooves at the bottom of the barrel and pushed back when you open the block) I'm taking a wild guess at 1890 ish.
