Got a Remington Model 29 with about a 28 or 29 inch barrel. Fair condition. Some pitting in about 3-4 spots. Works great though. A spec or two of surface rust, that should come out with very little work. Serial number is 6xxx. From the Remington web page there were 38,000 made from 1930 to 1933. Can anybody give me a ballpark figure? Much thanks.GL

That is a very early 29. I paid $125 for mine at a gun show. Blue book 80% is $150. They are pretty hard to come by since so few were made but in the condition you describe itis pretty much a shooter.
