brass shotgun shells ?

I just picked up a sealed tin of surplus shotgun shells today at a pawn shop. the tin container says 120 carridges 12 gage no. 4 chilled shot in cartons lot WRA 22003just wondering if these are brass shells thanks, JODY

    Unlikely. I've never seen brass shells in anything other than 00 buck. Still, #4 is an odd size; usually the govt contract shotshells were #6 or #8.

    Jody:: Come on, open the tin. Open one boxwithout damaging the box and let us now.If it is 120 rounds they should be in boxesof 10 or 20 rounds. Dont keep us in suspense.
