22LR, results and ... well... results...

Some time ago I asked for advice on a 22LR rifle that would be accurate, reliable and suitable to train a daughter on shooting, yet have the quality to provide exceptional shooting for an adult. The best of all worlds... not an easy task. I asked on the board and recieved some very nice, constructive and (as it turned out) accurate advice. I ended up buying an Anschutz 1751D, $795. Not cheap. Not a semi-auto. But, mahhhh gawd... the results are spectacular. After sighting in with a Tasco target scope (12 minutes), results were well under one inch at 50 yards (bench sandbag). Having Lapua, Eley, RWS and a few other ammo samples to choose from, how could one pass up 100 yards ? What the heck. Not the forte of a 22 but who cares... Within 5 minutes of adjustment for the minor gusts, the groups were under 1.5 inches. And I a am not Mr. Target. The 54 action is pragmatic, uneventful and effective. The rifle just shoots where pointed, period. Very... mechanical.I would like to thank those who suggested the multiple models (good news and bad) and provided rational, seasoned and experienced perspectives to a novice. Your advice was excellent and is greatly apprciated. Thank you !
