Looking to buy a .45. Any info on the new M2 in .45? The M2 seems cheaper & has different features.

You really can't go wrong with either, but I will tell you the M2 is not meant for concealed carry. The 245 is a great gun and is a little easier to use than the M2. The M2 is a great looking gun and its double action trigger is so light that it almost feels like a single action trigger. I work with these guns on a daily basis, more with the 245. The 245 is constucted better and has a longer service life than the M2. There is also almost a one year wait on production for the M2, there are a lot of orders for them. If you can find one in a shop you're good but ordering one will take some time. Either way you can't go wrong with a Sig product.

110, Thanks for the info. I have several Sigs. I was just wondering about the Mauser2. I think I'll pick up the P245.

I picked up an M2 used at the first of this year. It seems to do all right by me and my friends semm to like it too. (I'm a poor judge as the first time I ever shot any pistol was 2 weeks before I bought the thing.)The only problem that I am having with it is that I need to make sure that the fireing pin is well lubed. If I don't clean it after every session and if I don't lube the pin the next round hangs on still extended pin when cycling.Any recommendations?
