Stevens 311A Help

I have two shotguns one 12 ga and one 20 ga. both say " Stevens Model 311A Savage Arms Corporation Westfield Mass"on the left side of the receiver. any info on these guns and what they are worth? any web sites or places I can go for more info. they both have markings on the inside that you can see when you break them openMany ThanksDave

    You didn't give us a condition, which is important in establishing value; so I'll give you a spred from the Blue Book: 100% condition (unlikely) $245, 95% $185, 80% $140, 60% $115. Some info about your guns: They were made for many years and discontinued in 1989. They are rugged and reliable, and take a long, long time to wear out. They are kind of the Chevy or Ford of the shotgun world---not too fancy or graceful, but do the job for the ordinary farmer or rancher that can't afford something more expensive. Parts are still available from the Gun Parts Corp. and other sources. I own a couple myself and have worked on several and think that they are a good value for the money.
