Goatman: I see in the book that the Stevens Model 87M Garand lookalike ranges from $375 gd, $500 vg to $600 excellent. How does it shoot?

Pack slow, fall stable, pull high, hit dead center.

I have a friend that has one of these rifles, He shoots it sometimes, doesn't shoot all that great, but, the sights aren't that great either, and the thing is a BEAR to tear down and clean.
