Now that I've bought it, shot it, and fell in love with it, I've been on the net looking for instructions on disassembly can't find'em anywhere. Does anyone know of a website? or can anyone tell me how she comes apart?

Make sure shotgun is unloaded. Sit down and place butt on floor with gun standing up between your knees so the follower (where you insert shells) is facing you. Push the pin on the magazine tube out (toward your body) until it stops (do not remove it). Hold the pin and use it to rotate the magazine tube counter clockwise about 90 degrees. Pull up on the pin and the magazine tube will slide up a couple of inches. Pull up on slide (like you were racking a shell into the action), it will move up a few inches. Rotate barrel/pump slide portion of gun counter clockwise 90 degrees and you should have it apart.

This is easier to do than tell someone how to do it. In the future when buying them it's a good idea to take them apart before money changes hands - you'll sometimes see threads on the end of the barrel that often get mangled. I'd avoid these guns.

I find it's easier to reassemble if the action is opened just slightly while pushing the mag. tube back in.

do an ebay search for "winchester model 12" and I'm sure you will come across a man with reproduction assembly manuals for the M-12. I got one from him a year or two ago. It is a reprint of the Winchester book, circa 1959. Excellent illustrations and text. Highly recommend just for reference! Approx $15.

Maybe you should try the Gunbroker Auction site too? How about this:

When you say disassembly I hope you just mean take down to clean. Disassembly of a model 12 can be a hair tearing experience. Taking the barrel assembly off of the reciever to clean it is pretty straight forward but don't try to remove the internal parts unless it is broke it's not necessary. rick-reno has it right.
