i own a s/w626 4" & baretta 9357 cougar
the 357mag vs the 357sig. the mag wins!,BUT for carry the sig wins!
wounds are supposed to be about the same, from what i have found.
the cougar holds 10rds, the s/w 6rds, my boss has a 357sig h&k 12rds
the cougar is lighter & shorter, the hk is heavy & big, the s/w bulky
my favorite is a springfield 1911a1 .45cal
so, that was a lot of help..later

Is it difficult to load? not once you get the dies set right. It takes a little more finesse with necked cartridges than that of a straight wall. Find the loading data for it, by Speer if you can. Check out it's muzzle velocity and energy for a bullet only weighing 125gr, it is impressive. I for one will continue to buy guns chambered for the little giant.
A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.

My gripe with the 357 SIG is that there's no real difference in performance versus the 40 S&W.

Really? Not even in bullet drop over a distance? I'm looking at buying a handgun, probably a Springfield XD, in either caliber and am looking for differences to point me one way or the other. Which one would shoot flatter out to 50 yards or so? Is there anyplace I can find some more information comparing the two?
