Just bought a 98K stock, it has no recoil lug (bolt) or bolt takedown disk in stock. I understand about installing recoil bolt, but how do you install a takedown disk in buttstock?

Late war M98K laminated stocks did not have a bolt takedown disk on the stock, instead there is a takedown hole in the buttplate. I think it is amuseing that during the war and for a time afterwards American gun writers made alot of fun of those "dumb" Germans and their laminated stocks. Now of course we have found them to be much more stable and stronger then a solid wood stock and a better use of available wood. My how times have changed!
