It's where you click to edit your post. It only shows up on the posts you write.
The trash can is there so you can delete your reply to a post.

    Tg 1954-
After you click on the icon there are no instructions on how to delete or edit.
Seems the old way was easier.
    What am I missing?

When your post comes up, just highlight what you want to delete or change. You can also cut, copy and paste. You can also add to your message.

On my edit, I had a comma between the highlight and what. I just deleted the comma, then click on post changes.

Thanks bullelk, I'm handicapped with this webtv, can't highlight, cut + paste, etc. Where do you click to complete the edit? On Submit New Reply?

There's no "Post Changes" on my screen.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the web-TV setups, just regular ISP's.
