How do I find out the value of a colt 45 commemortive alamo pistol? Email me and let me know about what one is worth. I am not interested in selling or trading, but I would like to know the value of what I have.

Thank you

What did you pay for it? That is its present value! I'm not being smart about this. Here's the deal on Colt Commemoratives. Mostly, they sold for slightly more than their regular like models. Although decorated up and placed in "presentation cases" they mostly have not appreciated in price with a very few exceptions. There are a few collectors out there that like these "Commemoratives." Mostly, however, these guns never get fired and are traded, sold, and otherwise dealt with with these particular collectors. This is the case in almost every other Brand of Gun, also. There isn't a great big market out there. The Blue Book of Gun Values gives "guideline" pricing on most of them. Generally, the value stays about what they originally sold for, even quite a few years ago! Good Luck!
