H&R .22 Seven Shot Revolver 6" Barrel

In 1930s as a kid I had a H&R revolver that then retailed for $7.25. I think it was called the Trapper. Had octagon 6" barrel and grip shaped like a saw handle. Seven shooter much like the 922 model but lighter all around construction. Does anyone know if my recall is good, if such a pistol is still available. In my second childhood I would like to get it back or one like it. Thanks, Robert

I had one of those in the '50s'. All I remember about it was it produced serious blowback--enough for me to get rid of it.

    Robert,
You're right, it is the Trapper model. Try some gun shows or www.gunsamerica.com. Make sure you get a good tight one.

    Robert,
I just checked on gunsamerica.com, and they have one on there for $195.00. Looks in pretty good shape, but you will have to get in touch with the seller to find out how good. Good luck.
