I just got back from the range with my Turk. I was really surprised with the groupings. I tried two types of ammo: Remington 170grn SP, and some turkish ball. At 50yrds I shot about 1 1/4inch group, two landing in the 10 ring and one just to the left of the ten ring. The mil ball was in terrible shape. I bought three bandoleers and probably 40% of the necks were cracked and another 10% were duds. The remington shot a bit high only about an inch above the ten ring but the groupings were more consistent. They were just about 1inch.
I guess there are really no bad mausers out there huh?
