Your gun is pre-1925 (425,000). The receipt probably indicates a Flues model.

Safe to shoot with modern rounds??? Hard to give a good answer. The frame of your gun is a touch on the light side. Heavy use can cause cracks. Further, the tubes may not be relieved for 2 3/4" loads. Any good smith can remedy this problem.

It really all comes down to condition. If in good shape, the old girl will toss lead well into the 21st century.

Yep, Flues Model dating to 1919 or 1920.
