I HAVE A SAVAGE MODEL 112 300 ULTRA MAG IT HAS A SYNTHETIC STOCK-INTERNAL BOX MAG.-STAINLESS BARREL-MUZZLE BREAK-BLUE ACTION-26" BARREL SERIAL #F8952XX. I PLAN ON USING 165 GRAIN PSP HOW DO YOU THINK THEY WILL WORK? THANKS JURDAN

    Sure arent nothing wrong with the Gun or Caliber as the grain bullet it depends on what your hunting.I have a Savage model 11f which is a cousin to your gun.There kind of like Rems-BDL its pretty much their best guns.Mine 11f is chambered in .308. And I have a few more of their guns and Savage has really improved the quality over the years. Enjoy your new gun.As for the 300 ultra mag most anything works.The best I can tell your gun was made around 2000-2001.
