I was wondering what exactly is neccessary to build your own ar-15 rifle. I saw an ad for a complete rock river lower reciever with stock for 225 dollars. Does this mean that all i would have to do is purchase a complete upper reciever and put it on the lower? Or is there more needed/involved? Also, how hard is it and can it be done by any old goat like myself, or does it take an experienced gunsmith? Thanks

the only problem you will run into is colt's large front pin ar's,so ask to be sure you have the proper pin size . also do not get a preban upper if you have a post ban lower .hope this helps, wrench.
