does anyone have any good things to say about a 358 Shooting Times Alaskan?

    I built one of these several years ago. At the same time I made
    myself a 7 STW. It shot very good, and one elk dropped in its
    tracks. Then a friend offered me entirely too much money for the
    pair of them and he now owns them. Recoil was a little nasty on
    the 358.

    Well if I didn't have a love affair with 338 caliber firearms and short 35 calibers like the 358 Win and 35 Whelen, this is what I would have for sure. Best of both worlds actually. Speed and 35 caliber.
