I believe what you have is a BELGUIM made import for the Hardware and Mail Order Trade....circa late 1890's thru Early 1900's..Look under the Barrels at the Breech End and see if there is an Oval with the letters E over LG...If there is..its deffinately belguim....Value is around $150.00.....

The good Capt. Kirk is 110% correct, but there could be a small light at the end of the tunnel...

The "Utica" name was chosen because it was in such close proximity to so many of the famous makers. Savage in Mohawk, Remington in Ilion, Lefever in Syracuse, Hunter in Fulton, and Ithaca in Ithaca. That none of the Utica's were domestic had nothing to do with anything, other than confuse a buyer.

The bright side is that I have heard tell of Utica's with quality components. There's even a rumor that one might have been had with Krupp tubes. If so, then the value would be very low at $150.00.

That would be a new one, but I guess I'm not surprised. Crescent & Stevens made pretty good tubes. If yours is fluid steel and in good shape, then I see no reason why it couldn't be shot safely. Make sure the chambers have been relieved and see a good smith before you start.

Just a hunch, but I'll bet more than the tubes are Crescent/Stevens. These were "contract" guns for the most part and they must have been the low bidder for a run of guns.
