GI 1911 autos for reliability

Im in the market for a 1911 .45 auto in the lower price range. The most basic models are what im looking at right now, and the 315-350 dollar Rock Island Armory Mil Spec looks promising. I only read one review and it was favorable, but i would like some more input. Are these guns good for the money, and if not what low price models/makes are? My biggest concern is RELIABILITY, it has to go bang everytime. Ill be shooting nothing but 230 hardball, so hollowpoints wont be a concern. Should i pick one of the RIA 1911's up or look elsewhere?

I dont know if you just prefer one of these guns or not.But you can buy a nice Charles Daily 1911 brand new for that price. And they will shoot Hollow points or whatever you feed them. They have proven themselves to be reliable attractive pistols.

    Good Luck.
