I have 1 that will not release the cylinder lock unless I move the trigger farther forward after firing , also if I leave the front trigger guard pin out the action works very smoothly double or single action .. one thing I have noticed is the hand sticking out from its recess with hammer down and or cyl removed . any help appreciated .

Hard to tell from here but it sounds like you got one that was just assembled and not fitted or bubba got to it.
I'd start with taking it completely apart and clean it of build up dried oil and gunk. Examine the working surfaces for burrs and evidence of galling from excessive pressure.
Pistol smithing is more of an art form than a science. The science is understanding the mechanical linkages interaction. It way easier to stone more off than to put metal back on or find new parts.
