Odd set of Burris Rings

These rings were probably made before the patent on the Redfield dovetail turn-in rings expired. They are turn-ins and work similiarly to the current Redfield/Leupold/Burris rings but instead of the familiar dovetail at the bottom of the front ring, there is a horizontal cross piece. They seem to be of very good quality and I would like to use them but, of course, they will take a different style base than current. Anyone know of these and know if bases can be found?

Hawk: I've got Buehlers, too, and these are definetly not Buehlers. And as far as the rifle, if I could find a base, I probably have one it fits!

I no longer have the back catalogs to study, but that sounds more like a Buehler than a Burris.
If that is what it turns out to be, Buehler bases are fairly available on this and other sales sites.
    What gun?

    Well, darn.
The only thing I can think of is a want ad for old style Burris bases.
