Anyone able to make out the date this gun was made? I'm confused.

    My interpretation is that the letters "PP", denote DOM of 1988.

    The 3 numbers after "PP", got me confused though. According to the Browning web site. They are the model identifier. But they list different numbers on their site, for the BT 99 ?
