Remington UMC ammo: Problems?

A while back I was having Jamming problems with my Glock22. I was using UMC ammo. I mentioned this to the guys at the range and they said that they have heard the same from other Glock owners using this ammo in 40 S&W. Mine jammed once or twice a magazine using UMC (factory mags too). It stopped jamming when i switched. Anybody else experience the same?

The last box of UMC that I bought was in 32 ACP and I had to wipe the grit off of each round before loading. Nasty crap.....

Yeah, it could just be mine. It is one of the very first models to come out, and has seen quite a bit of life. I was thinking about sending it to the factory for a "checkup"
