Steyr SBS you can add spacers to the butt. This would be a great gun to grow with, however a little pricey. New around $550-575

Coonass the company is called Steyer-Mannlicher, in Austria. I have a mod. 96 SBS (safe bolt system) in .270 that is the best built gun I own. Not the prettiest though. A fine shooter, and they are a little more spendy than home grown rifles. They were imported by GSI, but apparently have dropped them. No current web site as far as I know. Look for them to open their own US distributor. [This message has been edited by He Dog (edited 03-22-2002).]
