Warrenty on a Sears shotgun

Out shoot clay pigons this weekend and my buddies old Sears 20 ga pumb cracked from the trigger guard all the way up to the top of the action, about an inch infront of the stock. He out probably $60 which he paid 10 - 15 years ago used. What should he do with it? Thanks.

If its a bolt action Sears had a recall on some of them. If its not in the recall then Id sell it to a gunsmith for parts.

Sorry, but the trigger guard is cracked. Just behind the trigger, straight up to the top of the of the shot gun. Sell it to a smith for parts, good idea, Thanks.
