Mossberg shotgun info

I'm looking for info on a Mossberg #9200 Jungle gun 12 ga. auto. A friend has one for sale in exc. cond. $350.00. Is it worth the money? Thanks, John

    Full bore retail is $669.69. I guess the question is if it's worth the asking price to you. It's basically a good gun, but has limited applications "as issued". More of a defense or possibly a deer gun than a bird gun. You might be able to fit it with a longer barrel with screw-in chokes and have an everything gun.

    Good God the thing is heavy..My 1100 model jammed on me one year...Had to use a friends mossberg auto..Thing felt like a ton after a day of duck hunting

    I'll use the Mossberg for home defense. Using light tactical loads.I agree it is one heavy shot gun. I was wondering how good the action is. Thanks.
