I have an AR-15, I am told it is a green label gun, which from what I understand just designates the time frame of manufacture.Serial Number is 226xxx. It has bayonet lug and birdcage style flash supressor. Someone once made a big deal when he look in the lower reciever and said it was unblocked, whatever that means. It is Marked Colt AR-15 A2HBar SporterI would say it's in about 99% condition with maybe 500 round fired through it.Any responce would be appreciated. Thanks

I've seen asking prices up to $2K, but I think a more likely selling range would be $1,200-1,400. The receiver block was added by Colt to prevent insertion of an auto-sear. That really doesn't mean anything to most of us, because such an accessory could earn you 5 years in a Federal prison. (Well, a REGISTERED auto-sear would be legal, but they are scarce and expensive.)Neal

There are no hard and fast rules with Colt.Green labels almost always have the bayonet lug.Blue labels usually don't.Box,papers and cleaning kit puts it at 15-1600.Less without.cpermd
