    All that means is "Arms Factory" and made in 1923. We'll need to know at least which Fabrica to help you identify this rifle. A description of any other writing and markings would also help.

    "Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre Herstal Belgique" is the trade mark of the FN Browning plant in Belgium, and is usually marked on the left side of thier guns. What type of gun do you have?Matt
