Special Cleaning precautions on Ti, Sc Models?

A buddy of mine just bought a new Smith Model 386 with scandium frame and titanium cylinder. There are no special cleaning instructions with the gun. Does he need to take any special precautions, or can he clean it just like his stainless revolver? Is a copper bore brush safe to use? Should he avoid any particular cleaning solvents? He would appreciate any help.Thom

Call Smith & Wesson. I seem to remember that there was some specific cleaning instructions for the titanium and scandium revolvers, but I don't recall exactly what they were. Better to be safe than sorry, call them, they have a 800 number.
